1. What we sell
All products are digital, delivered electronically, with no physical shipping:
- Founder credential — a one-time digital licence plus an NFT, minted on-chain immediately after payment.
- Player / Chrono Pass — recurring digital access, activated immediately.
- Cosmetics and in-game items — one-time digital goods, granted immediately.
- Guards (store credit or card) — a one-time digital good; the Guard and its starting pack are one delivery, delivered immediately. A withdrawal within 14 days recalls the whole delivery (the Guard and its starting pack) and refunds the full price, unless the §3 consent to immediate delivery was given. The starter Guard and the trial body are never sold.
- Bunker tiers and rooms — one-time digital goods, granted immediately; a higher tier is priced at the difference from the tier held, with no upkeep.
- Store-credit top-ups — prepaid, closed-loop credit for our own digital goods, credited immediately; never paid out, never moved between accounts; unspent credit is refundable within 14 days.
2. Your 14-day right of withdrawal
Consumers in the EU have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts, without giving reasons (§ 355 BGB). The period starts on the day the contract is concluded.
To withdraw, send us an unambiguous statement — an e-mail to [email protected] or to the address in our Impressum is sufficient. Use of a model withdrawal form is optional. We refund all payments received within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, using the same payment method, at no charge to you.
3. Immediate delivery and early expiry of that right
Under § 356 Abs. 5 BGB the right of withdrawal for digital content expires early only if all of the following are true:
- you expressly consent to us beginning performance before the withdrawal period ends;
- you confirm you understand that this consent means you lose your right of withdrawal; and
- we provide confirmation of the contract on a durable medium.
Because a Founder credential is minted immediately and irreversibly on-chain, checkout asks you for exactly that consent, in a separate box that is never pre-ticked. Giving it is your choice. If you do not give it, your full 14-day right remains and we will not issue your credential until the period ends or you consent.
4. Subscriptions
- Withdrawal within 14 days. You may withdraw from a new subscription within 14 days of purchase in the app (Billing → Withdraw from this purchase) or by e-mail. If you asked us to start the subscription immediately, you pay for the days used and we refund the rest of the period (Art. 14(3) of Directive 2011/83/EU); the proportion is measured to the second and any rounding is in your favour. Access ends when you withdraw and no further renewal is charged. If you did not ask for an immediate start, the whole payment is refunded and the period is undone.
- Cancel any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; your access continues to the end of the period you already paid for.
- Renewals are charged automatically at the start of each period, at the price shown at the time.
- Price changes are notified in advance and never applied retroactively to a period you already paid for.
- Cancel in the app, or by e-mail to the address in our Impressum.
We do not pro-rate a partly-used period beyond the statutory right of withdrawal above.
Model withdrawal form
Directive 2011/83/EU Annex I(B) / Muster-Widerrufsformular, Anlage 2 zu Art. 246a § 1 Abs. 2 S. 1 Nr. 1 EGBGB. Use of this form is optional; any unambiguous statement (an e-mail is enough) works. In the app: Billing → Withdraw from this purchase.

5. Goodwill refunds
Beyond the statutory cases, we refund at our discretion — typically where:
- a technical fault meant a product was never delivered or was unusable, and support could not fix it;
- a duplicate or accidental charge occurred.
We do not normally refund because in-game items have been used or consumed, because a tradeable asset has lost value, or for a subscription period already largely consumed.
6. Where a refund is no longer possible
Once you have transferred or resold a Founder NFT, the sale cannot be unwound — the asset is no longer under our control. Statutory rights, where they still apply, are unaffected.
7. Who your contract is with
For card payments, Stripe is the merchant of record and the legal seller; Stripe issues your invoice and remits VAT. This does not reduce your consumer rights — exercise them with us at the address in our Impressum and we coordinate the refund through Stripe.
For crypto purchases, your contract is directly with us. A refund is settled in the same amount of ETH we received, returned to the wallet that paid — we do not convert between currencies.
