Submit a notice
Send your notice to [email protected] with the subject DSA illegal-content notice. Notices may be submitted in English or German.
Please include:
- the exact message, post, profile, URL, or other identifier that locates the content;
- a clear explanation of why you believe the content is illegal;
- your name and e-mail address, except where the law permits an anonymous notice; and
- a statement that you believe the information in your notice is accurate and complete.
Signed-in operators may also use the Report action next to a message or post. We acknowledge receipt electronically and process sufficiently precise notices diligently and without undue delay. A report is reviewed by a person; classification metadata does not make the final decision.
What happens next
We may leave the content available, restrict it, remove it, or take account action. Where the law requires it, the affected operator receives the facts, legal or contractual ground, duration and territorial scope of the action, whether automated tools were involved, and the available routes for redress.
Points of contact
The electronic point of contact for recipients of the service and for Member State authorities, the European Commission, and the European Board for Digital Services is [email protected]. Communication is accepted in English and German.
